Paraguay - Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security

Mrs. Carla Bacigalupo Planás took office as Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Security of the Republic of Paraguay on August 16, 2018. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the National University of Asunción, and she is a public notary. She has a Master's Degree on Law from the same University.
 
Mrs. Bacigalupo has professionally developed in various sectors such as the Judiciary, where she was secretary of the Ombudsman for the Poor, Absent and Incapable, and then an actuary. 
 
She has also held positions in the State Attorney General's Office on constitutional issues and Rapporteur of the Supreme Court of Justice, as well as Legal Director General of the Ministry of Justice and Labor
 
Since 1999 she has also taught at the National University of Asunción
