Labor Inspection

 
The Bilateral Cooperation Activity between the Secretariat of Labor and Social Welfare of Mexico and the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare of Chile on labor inspection was selected in the framework of the 19th Call of the Inter-American Network for Labor Administration (RIAL) of the Organization of American States (OAS) in April 2026, to be carried out virtually.
 
Objectives:
 
General objective: To strengthen the institutional capacities of the General Directorate of Federal Labor Inspection through the design and implementation of a virtual training platform that enables the sustainable, scalable, and autonomous professional development of personnel involved in federal labor inspection.
 
Specific objectives:

• Design a virtual training technology architecture based on open and sustainable standards.
• Implement a Learning Management System (LMS) that enables the creation of interactive content without requiring external licenses.
• Ensure compatibility with international standards (SCORM, by its acronym in Spanish, or other equivalent standards).
• Train designated personnel in the administration, operation, and updating of the system.
• Establish technical and operational guidelines to ensure the platform’s sustainability and institutional autonomy
