Oliver Joseph

Mr. Oliver Joseph was educated at the St. Andrew’s Anglican Secondary School, The University of the West-Indies and The Robert Gordon University (Scotland). Mr. Joseph holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Management, a Diploma in Trade Policy and a Master’s Degree in International Trade. He has also received specialized training in Trade Negotiations.
He joined the Grenada Public Service in 1982. He served in various positions including Director of Trade, Permanent Secretary and Minister of Foreign Affairs. He also conducted national training for Immigration Officers throughout CARICOM and prepared the Trainer Manual to be used by Member States to train Immigration Officers. Mr. Joseph was sworn in as Minister of Labour on June 2016.
