The Bilateral Cooperation Activity between the Ministry of Labor of the Dominican Republic and the Secretariat of Labor and Social Welfare of Mexico on public employment service was selected in the framework of the 19th Call of the Inter-American Network for Labor Administration (RIAL) of the Organization of American States (OAS) in April 2026, to be carried out virtually.
 
Objectives:
 
General objective: To strengthen the technical capacity of the personnel of the General Directorate of Employment (DGE) to support the upgrading and continuous improvement of the RDTRABAJA Employment Portal.
 
Specific objectives: 

  • Improve the quality of employment intermediation services between jobseekers and employers.
  • Acquire tools and methodologies for evidence-based planning using labour market statistics.
  • Replicate the model of inter-institutional partnerships and coordination.
