On July 8, 2024, Mr. Wilmer Javier Fernández assumed office as Secretary of Labor and Social Security of Honduras. Secretary Fernández is a lawyer with experience in labor issues and has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Private Contributions Regime (RAP), as director of Interinstitutional Management and Regulations of the Secretariat of the Presidency and as a lecturer at the National Autonomous University of Honduras.
