Specific: Construction of the procedures, mechanisms and instruments necessary for the implementation of the regulation and optimal implementation of REIFOCAL.

PRELIMINARY RESULTS

On August 30 and 31, an on-site visit was made by officials of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security of Paraguay to the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security of Argentina, within the framework of the cooperation provided by the Inter-American Network for  Labor Administration (RIAL), coordinated by the Organization of American States (OAS).

These days had the objective of sharing and exchanging experiences of the Registry of Training and Employment Institutions (REGICE) in order for the Paraguayan institutions to develop the Registry of Education and Labor Training Institutes (REIFOCAL).

Some of the activities realized were a presentation of the normative political framework of the REGICE, its requirements and registration processes, as well as, a presentation of the National Education and Training System (SINAFOCAL).

Similarities were observed in the systems of certification of competences of both countries, and to that end, it was agreed to work on the homologation of programmatic contents of the construction area because both countries have high labor mobility in this specialty.

The representatives of both Ministries consider the exchange as a more enriching experience, which contributes to the development of a strategy of collaboration between both countries.

The Paraguayan Delegation was formed by Laura Calabró, Carmen Ayala, and Ana Benítez, a technical team from SINAFOCAL. The Argentine Delegation was formed by Nicolas Fanchini, Gustavo Portela, and Pablo Granovsky, a technical team of the REGICE.

As a closing of the activities, a meeting was held between Mrs. María Victoria Diesel, Technical Secretary of SINAFOCAL and Mr. Conrado Reinke, Assistant Secretary for Employment Policies and Vocational Training.
