Vocational Training and Skills Certification

The National System for Certification of Labor Competencies of Chile, in the framework of Law 20.267, was in the design phase for the regulations and instruments that were necessary to launch to the system by the end of 2010. For this reason, three delegates from Chile Valor, the governing body of the System, visited the Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Security of Argentina with the objective of learning from the Ministry’s experience.
 
For the Chilean delegates, this visit allowed them to add value to the information that Chile Valora had obtained from consultations carried out in the installation phase of the System, specifically information related to the design of the accreditation process of centers and other groups associated with the generation, updating, and acquisition of occupational profiles.
