Eighth Call – 2015

 
The Eighth Call for Proposals was opened from January 15th to March 13th. This year 64 proposals were received involving 22 countries of the Hemisphere, thus breaking the record number of both applications and Ministries involved. The main themes covered were: Occupational safety and health, Labor Inspection, Labor Market Information Systems, and Individual and collective dispute settlement.
 
After a thoroughly evaluation process, eight (8) proposals were selected due to their solid justifications, clarity of objectives and expected impacts. (See Document of Results) 
 
Furthermore, two webinars were held to support the Ministries of Labor in the application process and help them in the match-making process. 21 countries participated in total and active communication and collaboration among the Ministries was seen. The webinars took place on February 10th and 12th. (See presentation)
